Who we are

Camp Interiors’ team of dedicated interior designers love to amplify our clients’ visions for their commercial or residential spaces.

For the past five years, we’ve been a best-kept secret among our clients, and now we’re excited to celebrate and share our successes with you!

Interior design is a collaborative field, and to us, the most rewarding projects are those where the entire team is dedicated to a successful outcome. When the owner, contractor, design team, and trades all work together to fine-tune the details, everyone wins.

When our favorite clients, contractors, and trades come to us again and again, we jump for joy—it’s just like reuniting with friends for another summer at camp! We are grateful for the trust granted to us and look forward to exceeding your expectations, too.

Meet the Team

  • Founder

Michelle Garlington is an award-winning, licensed interior designer with more than 22 years of experience and a passion for helping her clients bring their visions to life.

Known for her approachability and authenticity, she takes great pride in providing the best client experience possible. Michelle has a deep love for historic preservation rehabilitation projects, and her goal is to ensure each client not only loves their finished spaces, but also the process–from start to finish.

Before landing in Macon in 2014, Michelle served as Interior Design Director for BarberMcMurry Architects and as an A&D liaison for Workspace Interiors in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Michelle holds an interiors degree from University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art and a Master’s of Historic Preservation from UGA’s College of Environmental Design. When not immersed in all things design, Michelle loves traveling to Maine with her family.

  • Carolyn Reichet is an award-winning, licensed interior designer with more than a decade of experience. She loves designing, and it shows in the quality of her work.

From a project’s initial concept and space plan to the completion of a beautifully detailed interior, Carolyn’s passion is evident. She is drawn to hospitality projects, which are bold, eclectic and fun—much like her own design style. Connecting with clients throughout the process is a highlight for her.

A native of Sandy Springs, Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. She met her husband, John (a Macon native), while studying abroad in Italy. They have lived in Macon with their two children since 2014.

  • Jenna joined the Camp Interiors design team in 2021. Her style is a mix of traditionalism with a modern flair, and she loves working in both residential and commercial environments.

Jenna is a calming presence for the team and her clients; her can-do attitude helps propel projects to the finish line.

A Warner Robins native, Jenna draws inspiration from art, textiles, wall coverings, and other design elements to create cohesive and thoughtful spaces that reflect her clients’ unique personalities. When not at the studio, Jenna loves scouting fresh new finds for Camp’s clients and her own space.

  • Katie White is the design coordinator for Camp Interiors. She enjoys residential projects and helps clients discover their unique aesthetics. She describes her style as traditional with a playful twist.

For the past seven years, Katie has lovingly restored a historic home in Macon’s Shirley Hills, and much of her experience is derived from this real-world project.

Katie never shies away from a challenge and is willing to roll up her sleeves to help complete projects. Her goal is to help clients love their homes, and she provides great levity for the studio.

“Michelle and the team at Camp Interiors were an absolute delight to partner with on our project.”
